/a-new-month-or-what

there is only now.

It's the 1st of August! A new cycle? or just a new month? both? so many questions, just another day? the answer to all is yes, but it depends on who asks and who answers, right? Today I'm feeling good, maybe because I don't have to work, maybe because I slept well and had good dreams, both then. It's cloudy outside, but while I was drinking my coffee outside the sun showed up for a minute between gray clouds, I smiled at it before it disappeared again, and it looks like that's how the rest of the day is gonna be. It's Saturday, long run day, maybe you already know it's Saturday but who knows when someone reads something, right? I'm asking a lot of questions today, what do you think about this?

Long run day as I said, the goal today is 1h40m slow pace. Weather looks nice outside for a run, gray clouds, some weak wind, slightly cold, the type that goes away quickly once you warm up. I still haven't decided my route for today, I can stay looping in my neighborhood or go to the lake, I can decide it later, probably the latter. The one important thing is that I'm feeling good about it, rested. My last goal of the training week, ready to be "checked" on my white board, and at the end of the day, erase everything and write up new week goals. That's how it has been, a white board is a must!

I hope it doesn't rain, that changes everything, or I will just have to run in the rain, which I like tho. But I vote for no rain today, or just after I run, can it be? "yes", said the Universe. Cool, I also still didn't decide exactly what time I'm going, sunset, at night, who knows. The rain will have to wait for my decision, can it be? "yes".

I remembered again that it's the 1st of August, that means, a new beginning, a chance to make this month better than the last, or worse than the next? yeah, maybe. I don't have an exact goal for this month. I should create one, or many. The actual goal stays the same tho. Keep up with the continuous progress, evolving, learning from mistakes, writing, erasing and writing again and going through the days. Some days more connected, some days more distracted, all observed and no day wasted. At the end, every day matters and there are only days, there are no months or years, it's just a construction, right? There is only now. "And all that is now, and all that is gone, and all that's to come and everything under the Sun is tune, but the Sun is eclipsed by the moon", that's true I guess. Eclipse - by Pink Floyd, you should listen it.
